About the event

Curious about psychedelics but don’t know where to start? Maybe you’ve heard that psychedelics hold promise for treating anxiety, depression, OCD, or PTSD? Maybe you’re struggling to navigate fear and anxiety during a session? Or to make meaning of past experiences?

In this crash course, we’ll cut through the noise that surrounds these powerful substances and get right into it: how to use psychedelics to support an ongoing journey into greater self-awareness, balance, creativity, and health.

Through a live presentation, interactive exercises, and Q&A, this class offers a safe and supportive environment to learn about consciousness expansion. Together we will:

  • Clarify your motivations, hopes and fears for starting on this path
  • Explore what distinguishes intentional psychedelic journeywork from other kinds of use
  • Learn how to navigate challenging experiences
  • Question preconceptions about what transformational journeying looks like
  • Talk frankly about sourcing, dosing, testing, finding guides, and psychological and behavior risks

Psychedelics can catalyze growth, healing, and a renewed sense of awe and wonder. They can also bring confusion, fear, and ego-inflation. While there is no “right” way of engaging with these substances, there are safer ways, as well as practices that help you get the most out of your journey.

To keep our group intimate, we are capping it at 15 people.

This class will be held at Bond Collective and hosted by our Director of Community, Patrick Doerksen. We look forward to seeing you there!

This is for you if you’re just getting started, or if you’re experienced with psychedelics but want to be more intentional with journeying.
