About the event
Tobacco is one of the most respected sacred plants among Indigenous peoples of the Americas, traditionally consumed as rapé snuff. This fine powder, made from tobacco leaves and tsunu ash, is blown into the nasal passages to offer a powerful, visionary experience.
In this ceremony, you’ll receive the medicine using the traditional Tepi, listen to medicinal music, and learn about rapé traditions in a safe, cozy space.
This experience focuses on healing, education, and ancestry, including:
Learning the history and contemporary uses of rapé snuff
Exploring a new relationship with tobacco
Supporting Glauber’s work and contributing to decolonization conversations in the psychedelic space
