Shamanic Breathwork

Hello Brooklyn Psychedelic Society Community!

Are you interested in exploring the healing power of breathwork? 

The workshop will begin with a sound meditation, moving into an hour of breathwork, then a set time for integration afterward. If you are new to breathwork, be aware that this modality can evoke altered states similar to that of the psychedelic experience, where it’s possible to reach deep levels of consciousness. Please come prepared for potential journeying. It is also an excellent tool for integration and a powerful healing modality in and of itself.

Rob is a certified Shamanic Breathwork Facilitator, a certified Sound and Music Practitioner, and a long-time practitioner of Buddhist Dharma. He has been actively involved with the Peruvian curandero tradition and the Santo Daime for 20 years. He is the chair of the Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant medicine and helps organize people in the sacred medicine community.

You should bring the following: a comfortable mat/bedding, blanket, pillow, water, and tissues. We hope you can join us as we open up to the power of the breath.
